Keywords:
Kurt Schwitters, explicit poetics, historical avant-garde, Ljubomir MicićSynopsis
The subject of research in the monograph entitled The explicit poetics of Kurt Schwitters and Ljubomir Micić: A comparative Review are the literary texts of Schwitters and Micić. The paper examines literary programmes and manifestos as the dominant form of expressing theoretical frameworks in avant-garde literature. Alongside presenting and interpreting theoretical propositions, and examining the role and significance that Kurt Schwitters and Ljubomir Micić occupy in the history of literature, this monograph seeks to show the similarities and differences between Merz and Zenitism through intertextual and comparative approaches. The aim is to analyse the work of Schwitters and Micić in detail through an analytical and hermeneutic approach and to question the authenticity of their theoretical ideas, which have left a lasting mark on the study of literary history over time. The study contains the author's translations of Schwitters' theoretical and literary-critical texts, as well as translations of Schwitters' poems into Serbian by Jelena Petrović and Miodrag Loma. The translations and abridged versions are presented here for the first time, making them accessible to both the academic community and a wider readership.
