Synopsis

The textbook Programming and Programming Languages is intended for the study of fundamental and advanced programming concepts, in accordance with the curriculum of the course Programming, taught at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka. It is primarily designed to meet the needs of university-level instruction, but it may also serve as a valuable resource for all readers interested in acquiring or improving their knowledge and skills in the field of programming.

The content of the book covers the theoretical foundations and practical application of procedural and object-oriented programming using the Visual Basic programming language. The material is organized into two parts and divided into eight thematically connected chapters. The concepts are presented gradually and systematically, facilitating the acquisition of fundamental principles as well as the understanding of more complex programming structures.

A particular value of the textbook lies in the integration of theoretical explanations with practical exercises. This approach enables readers to assess their acquired knowledge, develop logical thinking, and gradually gain independence in solving programming problems.
