Dental pulp regeneration represents one of the most dynamic and promising areas of modern dentistry. With the development of biomedical sciences and regenerative medicine, the understanding of the biological processes of tooth filling has been significantly improved, opening up new possibilities for the therapy of damaged and necrotic teeth. This monograph was born out of the need to consolidate current knowledge about pulp regenerative processes, their mechanisms and clinical implications.
This book presents the basic biological principles that regulate pulp repair and regeneration, including the role of stem cells, signaling pathways, and biomaterials in this process. Special emphasis is placed on inovative therapeutic approaches, such as the use of mineral trioxide aggregates (MTA), bioceramic materials and tissue engineering in dentistry. Also, the advantages and challenges of regenerative stimulation of the pulp with stem cells as a direction of development of indirect and direct covering procedures in clinical practices were discussed.
This monograph is intended for both students and reseraches, as of this book will contribute to a better understansing and application of moderm methods in preserving the vitality of teeth, thereby significantly improving the quality of dental therapy.
